Dear Small Group Leaders,
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Psalms 46:1
Such a great service yesterday of worship and encouragement to look up before we look down.
Earlier today the presidential advisory team gave a strong recommendation from the White House for all Americans to comply with a 15 day duration to limit any gathering to 10 people maximum. Any gathering of 10 or less are strongly urged to use strict social distance standards which includes 6 feet apart, no physical contact, etc.
The goal of this advisory is to stop the spread of the Covid-19 Coronavirus. As a result our leadership is asking for all FBC Small Groups to stop meeting for 15 days beginning today. As of right now that means April 1, 2020 will be our next start date for Small Groups.
We have seen so much change within the past week. Our nation, one of the greatest in the world, has been humbled and prayers for a fast recovery is at the top of all our hearts. If new information comes to light we will pass it on.
Meanwhile, please stay in touch with your groups. Pray for each other and maybe video chat with each other. If you can meet in smaller settings and adhere to Social Distance guidelines then do so. With God as our refuge we will get through this!
