YOUTH MINISTRY  [ MS / JH / HS ]

s1bcym = shelton first baptist church youth ministries

Students in today's culture face daily challenges that make it tough to hear from God

and grow in faith.

As a part of s1bcym, students are consistenly invited to experience what following Jesus can be like, both individually and as a community.

Our motto is:

following Jesus and

helping others follow Jesus

If you have questions, comments, or concerns,

Parent Permission / Medical Release

Every student who wants to partake in any of our out of community events needs to have one of THESE forms filled out.  This is a annual, one-time form good though every August 31st.

NEWEST EVENT UPDATE:

We are no longer experiencing "event" page issues on Facebook.  They seemed to have fixed those old problems of viewership.

NO YOUTH GROUP??

We follow the school schedule for school closures.  For example, if our public schools close for an emergency snow day that also falls on the same day as one of our youth programs,

then we also will close.

If our weekly Youth Group falls on a Holiday where our local schools close down, so shall we.

However, If we were to have a program on one of those days, you will find it posted on our FB page in advance.

*Eighth Grader Caught In Between?

If you are an 8th grader struggling with the transition into our 812 ministry, please come talk with us.  Ideally, we want you to be with other 8th graders and such; but if you feel you just aren't ready to make the jump yet, talk with us!  If we feel 67s is still best for you, then we'll keep 67s as an open option for you.
