What Are We Doing?

By God's grace and through your generosity, we've seen remarkable progress in updating and improving our facility over the past decade. In 2019, we completed the third phase of a renovation journey that began in 2016. Now, we're ready to take the next step! (Or want to know a little about Shelton FBC's history? Click HERE)

What's the Next Phase?

• Worship Center: New carpet, updated pew upholstery, fresh paint, and a sound system upgrade.
• Restrooms: Refreshing both lower-level and main-floor facilities.
• Main Floor Hallway & Classrooms: Renovating rooms 204 & 205.
• Family Center, Kitchen & Classrooms: Updating and refurbishing this vital ministry space.

 

Why?

Because we love our church! While we know the church is the people, not the building, our facility is still a powerful tool in God's hands - a place where people meet Christ, grow in faith, and are equipped for ministry.

During our peak ministry seasons, over 900 people come through these doors each week—hearing the gospel, meeting Jesus for the first time, and being strengthened to live for Him.

For 136 years, God has used this place to advance His Kingdom. Now it's our turn to ensure that our building is as welcoming, functional, and inspiring as possible for the work of Christ.

We invite you to pray about how God would have you give over the next three years (or for whatever length of time He puts on your heart), from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028.
