Tessa Blackstad, homeschool consultant | Serving in Papua New Guinea since 2018 with Ethnos360

More than 750 languages are spoken in Papua New Guinea. The majority of these languages are unreached by the Gospel. Missionaries serving with Ethnos360 desire that a thriving church be planted among each of these people groups. Thus, missionaries move into remote villages to learn the language, teach and translate the Bible, and disciple people to spiritual maturity. 

Most missionary children are homeschooled, and, as a certified teacher and homeschool graduate, Tessa Blackstad comes alongside missionary families from the United States and Europe to equip, encourage, and advise them as they educate their children. Tessa answers questions about curriculum, suggests supplementary resources, tutors students, and engages with stressed or struggling moms, seeking to encourage them.
